Teresa Barker

Teresa Barker currently serves as the Director of Employee Excellence at Syncron, a position held since December 2021. Prior to this role, Teresa was an HR Business Partner at Transplace, an Uber Freight Company, from May 2016 to June 2021, where responsibilities included supporting various business units and consulting on employee relations and performance management. Teresa's career also includes experience as an Expatriate at Atlas Copco from 2012 to 2016, and as a Payroll Manager at Transplace from 2003 to 2012, managing payroll processing and employee relations. Earlier positions include Payroll Consultant at a Private Company, Financial Software Support at AudiSoft, HR and Payroll Manager at the Virginia Museum of Transportation Inc., and Assistant to the Vice President of Information Systems at Virginia Tech. Teresa is an alumna of Rockingham Community College.
