Project Director Of The Aus-png Network at Lowy Institute

Oliver Nobetau is currently serving as the Project Director of the Aus-PNG Network and holds the position of FDC Pacific Fellow at the Lowy Institute since January 2024. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Legal Officer at the Department of Justice and Attorney-General from January 2020 to January 2024, and a Legal Trainee at the PNG Legal Training Institute from April 2019 to December 2019. Oliver Nobetau completed a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at the University of Papua New Guinea, where studies were conducted from March 2015 to April 2019, and also gained experience as a Temporary Content Writer at Hausples.com.pg from December 2017 to February 2018.
