Samir Ait Idir

Samir AIT IDIR has a diverse work experience in various roles related to data analytics and management.

Samir started their career at HSBC as a Chargé d’études et analyste marketing from November 2007 to November 2008.

Samir then joined the Laboratoire d’Economie Moderne (LEM) as a Doctorant jeune chercheur from November 2008 to November 2009.

After that, they worked as a Consultant SAS et MOA at Societe Generale Securities Services - SGSS from January 2010 to June 2011.

At Groupama, they held the position of Chargé d'études statistiques et connaissance client from June 2011 to January 2014. Samir conducted customer satisfaction surveys and implemented automated reporting using SAS and VBA.

Samir then moved to Groupama Banque as a Data Miner / Analyst from January 2014 to December 2016.

In 2017, they joined Orange Bank as the Head of Data Analytics until March 2019. Samir was then promoted to the role of Chief Data Officer & Head of Data Intelligence until December 2022.

From April 2022 to October 2023, they served as the Responsable Data et Pilotage at Groupama.

Samir is currently working at LOXAM as the Head of Data, starting from September 2023.

Samir AIT IDIR's education history is as follows:

From 2004 to 2005, Samir attended Université Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC), where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics.

In the years 2005 to 2007, they pursued their education at Paris-Pantheon-Assas University, completing a Master's degree in Money, Banking, and Finance, with a focus on Finance.

Then, from 2007 to 2008, Samir attended Universités Paris Dauphine et Panthéon Assas, where they obtained their second Master's degree in Financial Statistical Engineering (ISF), specializing in mathematical statistics and probabilities.
