Senior Scientific Lead, Bioassay, SPR Specialist at Loxo Oncology

Rebecca Eells, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of biophysics and scientific research. Rebecca is currently working as a Senior Scientific Lead, specializing in Bioassay and SPR at Loxo@Lilly since April 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Biophysics at Reaction Biology from February 2021, and previously worked as an Associate Director of Biophysics from May 2019 to February 2021. Rebecca also served as a Senior Research Scientist I at Reaction Biology from April 2018 to April 2019.

Before joining Reaction Biology, Rebecca completed their PhD at Carnegie Mellon University, where their research focused on membrane-protein interactions and utilized a model membrane system to study these proteins and their lipid interactions. Rebecca also gained research experience as a Student Research Assistant at Vassar College from 2009 to 2012.

Rebecca Eells, PhD, received their Bachelor's degree in Physics from Vassar College in 2012. Rebecca then went on to pursue their Phd in Molecular Biophysics and Structural Biology at Carnegie Mellon University, completing their studies in 2018.
