Viviana Volta

Viviana Volta, PhD, has had an extensive work experience in the field of scientific research and translational sciences. Viviana'smost recent position was as a Scientific Lead in Translational Sciences at Loxo@Lilly, starting in August 2023. Prior to this, they served as an Advisor at DNA ID from June 2019 to the present. From February 2022 to February 2023, they worked as a Senior Scientist at Opentrons, Pandemic Response Lab. Before this, they held the position of Senior Scientist at Synthis from November 2019 to January 2022. Viviana also had a significant period of time working as a Postdoc in Schneider's lab at NYU Langone Health from March 2011 to November 2019. Viviana'searly career started as a PhD student in Biffo's lab at Ospedale San Raffaele from April 2004 to January 2011, during which they also worked as an undergraduate student from April 2003 to April 2004.

Viviana Volta, PhD, obtained their Diploma in Maturità Classica (High School) from an undisclosed institution in 1997. Viviana then pursued a Degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Eastern Piedmont from 1997 to 2004. Following this, they completed a Lab Internship for Graduation at Ospedale San Raffaele from 2003 to 2004. Continuing their education, Viviana obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, and Oncology from Ospedale San Raffaele in 2010. Finally, they accomplished a Ph.D. in Biology at the Università degli Studi del Piemonte Orientale from 2006 to 2010.
