Jeremy Anderson

Acting CTO & Head Of Techops at Loyalty NZ

Jeremy Anderson has a strong background in technology leadership and management. Jeremy has experience as the Acting CTO and Head of TechOps at Loyalty NZ, where they led digital transformation and Cloud adoption efforts. In this role, they were responsible for technology and digital strategy, solution architecture, software development, IT delivery, vendor management, partner relations, risk management, cybersecurity, and information security.

Prior to that, Jeremy served as the Head of Information Technology at Loyalty NZ, where they led platform modernization and technical debt reduction initiatives. Jeremy played a key role in developing a new digital loyalty platform and rewards storefront, rebuilding the relationship between business and IT, and driving significant cost savings. Jeremy also positioned the company for a rapid transition to fully remote work with secure platform performance.

Before their tenure at Loyalty NZ, Jeremy was the Acting CIO and Global Technology Manager at icebreaker, a VF Company. Jeremy led a global team and managed the IT function, overseeing business systems, applications, digital innovation, infrastructure, support, and IT service delivery. Jeremy also collaborated with the CEO and strategic partners on sensitive IT security initiatives.

Jeremy's previous experience includes serving as the IT Director at Threespot. Overall, they have a successful track record of leading technology strategies, driving digital transformation, managing budgets, and fostering strong partnerships.

Jeremy Anderson holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Otago. Jeremy also obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Delta College. Additionally, Jeremy has received several certifications, including being a Senior Member and Certified Professional of the Australian Computer Society (ACS), completing the CIO Executive Development Program, obtaining Full Member status with IT Professionals New Zealand (MIITP), and having certifications in ITIL® Foundation and PRINCE2® Foundation.
