Francisco González

Francisco González has over 13 years of work experience in the technology industry. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as a Database Analyst at Adaptive, where they consulted on database maintenance and deduplication for banks and financial institutions and programmed in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, C and Java. Francisco also developed Java web applications for internal process monitoring. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as Lead Developer at Zauber, where they were a lead developer and team leader on various projects, such as JWT, Al Jazeera USA and Coca-Cola LatAm. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as an AWS Solutions Architect at Fronde, where they architected, estimated and developed AWS solutions for clients in Australia and New Zealand. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as Lead Infrastructure Engineer at AlchemyTec Limited, where they set up and managed AWS accounts, forked a live legacy monolith application to AWS, and scripted the creation of AMIs and Vagrant boxes on Packer. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as a Lead Infrastructure Engineer at Engage Technology Partners Ltd, where they led a team of three engineers in supporting the growth of the development team, scaling up the dev, test and production environments, and promoting security best practices and hardening environments. Currently, they are a Senior Platform Engineer at Masabi.

Francisco González obtained an Information Systems Engineer degree from Universidad Tecnológica Nacional between 2004 and 2009. In 2011, they earned an Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6 Programmer certification from Oracle. In 2014, they received an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services.
