Aida Shadfan

Aida Shadfan, MBA, currently serves as the Vice President of Finance/Accounting at the J. Craig Venter Institute since October 2021. Prior to this role, Aida was the Director of Finance and Accounting at San Diego State University from February 2019 to September 2021. Aida also held the position of Controller at the San Diego Center for Children from March 2009 to February 2019 and worked as the Accounting Manager at SeaSpace Corporation between 2006 and 2008. Earlier in Aida’s career, Aida was an Accountant at the University of California San Diego from December 1999 to March 2004. Aida holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from California State University San Marcos and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from California State University-Sacramento.
