Alissa Zito Cruz

Alissa Zito Cruz is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in both public relations and higher education. As Vice President of Communications at Step Up since January 2009, Alissa leads national and regional marketing strategies while managing press inquiries and talent relations. In academia, Alissa serves as a Senior Lecturer in Public Relations at Loyola Marymount University, teaching vital undergraduate courses. Previous roles include Publicist at MML PR, where Alissa executed PR strategies for various lifestyle clients, and Associate Director of Sports Information at Loyola Marymount University, where media opportunities for athletes were developed.
