Pgy-1 Pharmacy Residency Program Director at Loyola Medicine

Kevin Chang, PharmD, BCCCP has had a diverse range of work experiences in the field of pharmacy. Kevin began their career at UCLA Health, where they worked as an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician and later as an Inpatient Pharmacy Messenger. Kevin then moved on to UI Health, where they completed their PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency and subsequently worked as an Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Extern. After that, they joined UNC Health Care as a PGY-2 Critical Care Pharmacy Resident. In 2018, Kevin joined Loyola Medicine as a Critical Care & Thoracic Transplant Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, a role they held until 2020. Kevin also served as a Surgical-Trauma ICU Clinical Pharmacy Specialist and a Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator at Loyola Medicine. In 2020, Kevin became the PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Program Director at Loyola Medicine. Additionally, they are currently working as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. Overall, Kevin Chang has gained extensive experience in clinical pharmacy and has made significant contributions to various healthcare organizations.

Kevin Chang, PharmD, BCCCP, earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychological Biology from UCLA, graduating in 2012. Kevin then went on to receive their Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the University of Illinois Chicago in 2016. In addition to their degrees, they hold a certification as a Board Certified Critical Care Pharmacist from the Board of Pharmacy Specialties.
