Tad A. Gomez

Tad A. Gomez is currently a Community Hospital Board Member at Loyola Medicine. Prior to this, they were the Vice President, Professional and Support Services at Northeast Georgia Health System from January 2017 to February 2019. From June 2011 to January 2017, they were the Vice President for Professional Services at Augusta University Health.

In their role as Vice President for Professional Services at Augusta University Medical Center, Tad had operational oversight for Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, Pharmacy Services, Radiology and Imaging Services, Respiratory Care Services, Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Services, Patient Transport and Pastoral Counseling. Tad was also responsible for leading a team in developing and executing a strategic Master Services Alliance with Beckman Coulter/Danaher Corporation, which resulted in a 15-year partnership that included pathology equipment, maintenance, reagents and consumables, performance improvement and innovation. In addition, Tad was the Chair of the AUMC – Philips Technology Work Group, which oversaw the technology implementation/replacement management plan for all imaging, patient care and monitoring equipment as part of the AUMC – Philips Strategic Alliance.

Tad A. Gomez has a Master's in Hospital Pharmacy from The Ohio State University and a B.S. in Pharmacy from The University of Kansas.
