Kathleen Butler

Kathleen Butler serves as the General Secretary at the Canon Law Society of America since 2020, where responsibilities include providing strategic advice to the Board of Governors, developing agendas for meetings, and enhancing operational efficiencies. Concurrently, Kathleen is a Contributing Writer for Loyola Press, with a focus on blog content. Previously, Kathleen operated as a Marketing and Communications Consultant and served as a Senior Consultant at The Caviart Group, where significant achievements included managing a national credentialing organization's rebranding efforts. Kathleen’s experience also includes roles as Deputy Director for the NCIDQ and Director of Corporate Communications at ESI International. Kathleen’s career began as Director of Communications at NCARB, where notable contributions included launching a new computer-based licensing examination and enhancing the organization's publications. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master’s degree in Catechesis from The Catholic University of America.
