Heather Sevener

Heather Sevener is an accomplished academic administrator with extensive experience in student services and academic advising. Currently serving as the Associate Dean for Student Academic Services at Loyola University Chicago since April 2019, Heather has previously held multiple roles at the institution, including Assistant Dean in Student Services. Heather's expertise also extends to workshop and seminar facilitation for advanced degree students and postdoctoral fellows through independent presentations from June 2007 to January 2022. Prior to joining Loyola University Chicago, Heather held positions at DePaul University as Assistant Director of Academic Advising and at the University of Chicago as Associate Director for Graduate Services. Heather holds a Master of Arts in Biology and Biomedical Sciences from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, magna cum laude, from Loyola University Chicago.
