Shannon Howes

Shannon Howes serves as the Director for Assessment and Assistant to the Vice President for Student Development at Loyola University Chicago, a position held since July 2010. Responsibilities encompass coordinating strategic planning and assessment initiatives for the department and supervising staff involved in Student Leadership Development and Second Year Experience programs. Previous experience includes serving as the Assistant Director of the Student Leadership Institute at DePaul University, where Shannon directed a leadership development certificate program and co-created a four-year Leadership Scholarship program. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Higher Education Administration from Loyola University Chicago and a Master’s degree in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University.
