Joe Griffin

Joe Griffin has a work experience that spans over several decades. Joe started their career as an Electrician at Griffin Electric Service, Inc. in 1983. Joe then worked their way up to become the Director of Operations before leaving in 1996. That same year, they joined Loyola University Maryland as a Master Electrician and later held positions such as Electrical Supervisor, Assistant Director of Electrical Services, Associate Director, and Sr. Associate Director of Facilities Management. Joe is currently the Director of Facilities Management at Loyola University Maryland.

Joe Griffin's education history includes obtaining a Master Electrician License from Associated Builders and Contractors in 1989-1993. Joe also completed a program in Criminal Justice/Police Science at CCBC from 1986 to 1988. In recent years, Joe pursued further education in Facilities Planning and Management, completing the Leadership Academy program at APPA from 2015 to 2018 and becoming a Certified Educational Facilities Professional from 2018-2020.
