Virginia Buckingham

Virginia Buckingham is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in corporate governance, public affairs, and journalism. As the Founder and President of Goldthwait Advisors since November 2021, Virginia Buckingham has focused on ESG platform development and thought leadership. In addition, Virginia Buckingham serves as President of Marblehead Current, a non-profit newspaper aimed at enhancing community engagement. Virginia Buckingham also holds a membership in the Presidential Leadership Scholars program and works as an Associate at LS Associates, supporting life sciences companies in ESG matters. Previously, Virginia Buckingham was Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Pfizer, where leadership in public affairs influenced policy strategies. Virginia Buckingham has also contributed as a Board Member of the Public Affairs Council and served as Deputy Editorial Page Editor for the Boston Herald, shaping editorial perspectives. Leadership roles have included CEO of Massachusetts Port Authority and Chief of Staff for two Massachusetts governors. Virginia Buckingham earned a BA in Communications from Boston College.
