Ankur Deshmukh

Ankur Deshmukh, Ph.D. has worked in various roles in the energy industry. Ankur started their career at Siemens in 2008 as a Steam Turbine Engineer. Ankur then progressed to become a Technical Group Lead in 2012 and a Performance and Simulation Expert in 2019. In 2021, they joined Siemens Energy as a Senior Energy System Consultant. Currently, Ankur holds the position of Director of Engineering at LS Power.

Ankur Deshmukh, Ph.D., completed their education in the field of Mechanical Engineering. Ankur obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from the University of Central Florida, where they attended from 2013 to 2020. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Florida from 2007 to 2008. Ankur'sacademic journey began at Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI), where they earned their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, graduating in 2007.
