Sean Porter is the Assistant General Counsel at the LSU Foundation, a position held since June 2023. Previously, Sean served as an Attorney for the Louisiana Division of Administration from July 2013 to June 2023, providing legal services with a focus on real estate transactions, cooperative endeavor agreements, procurement law, and construction litigation. Early career experience includes working as a Law Clerk at the Law Office of Scott P. Gaspard, where research and writing in various areas of law were primary responsibilities. Sean also participated as a Corps Member with City Year, engaging in service projects across southern Louisiana. Additionally, Sean worked as a Purchasing Agent at Louisiana State University, managing procurement needs for the Department of Physics and Astronomy. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from LSU Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Communication from Louisiana State University.
