Philip Jung

Philip Jung is an accomplished academic and researcher in the fields of biomaterials and biotechnology, currently serving as an Associate Professor at Louisiana State University since August 2016. Prior to this role, Philip Jung held positions as an AHA Postdoctoral Fellow and Research Associate at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, where expertise included engineering scaffolds for cardiac cell regeneration and utilizing MSCs for tissue regeneration. Philip Jung's research experience is further enhanced by a tenure as a Research Associate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and previous graduate studies at the University of Chicago, where focus included multifunctional biomaterials for regenerative medicine. Philip Jung holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and a Master's in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, along with a BS in Chemical and Biological Engineering from Inha University.
