Shahriar Mahmud

Shahriar Mahmud is a highly experienced professional in the fields of petroleum engineering and drilling operations. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at Louisiana State University since August 2019, Shahriar also holds a position as an Assistant Professor in the PMRE Department at Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology since January 2016, where courses on various aspects of petroleum engineering are taught. Shahriar's industry experience includes roles such as Assistant Rig Manager and Project Co-ordinator at KCA Deutag, along with previous positions in performance improvement and HSSE advisory. Shahriar's academic credentials include a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana State University, an MSc from the University of Stavanger, and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
