Lee Schalop

Lee Schalop created LSWorks to provide a strong foundation from which to continue his work as a life sciences industry angel investor and entrepreneur. With a career that began in the financial services industry, Lee worked at several major Wall Street firms, including Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan, Credit Suisse and Banc of America Securities. During his 19-year career, he served as both an investment banker, raising billions in capital for public and private firms, and as a research analyst, authoring more than 1,000 reports on publicly-traded companies. In 2008, Lee earned a medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, adding scientific and medical knowledge to his strong financial background. Since that time, as a partner of PolyTechnos Venture Partners, he has helped found and grow a number of companies in the life sciences space. Lee is a board member and head of business development for ImmunoGenes AG, a biopharmaceutical company specialized in the generation of transgenic animals to improve the quality and quantity of polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies. He is also co-founder and Chief Business Officer of Oncoceutics, Inc., a drug discovery company focused on the development of novel anti-cancer compounds.
