Shantha Kumar K

Shantha Kumar K has extensive experience in the financial services sector, currently serving as Business Head and Zonal Head at L&T Financial Services since December 2014, focusing on managing various loan products such as Gold, Auto, Business, Education, and Housing loans. Prior to this role, Shantha held the position of Head - Individual Loans at Jana Small Finance Bank from June 2012 to November 2014, where responsibilities included setting up a structure and developing a nationwide individual loans portfolio. Shantha's career also includes a tenure at Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Limited as Regional Business Manager, overseeing individual lending from April 2010, and earlier as Distribution Manager for the JLG business. Additionally, Shantha worked as Regional Co-ordinator at DHAN Foundation, promoting the SHG microfinance model. Shantha holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Agriculture from the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, completed in 2000.
