Alekhine Veloso

Alekhine Veloso currently serves as the Head of Business Engagement for the Middle East and Africa at the World Economic Forum since October 2013, where responsibilities include developing relationships with African business partners, managing the African portfolio, and achieving high partner retention and acquisition rates. Previous positions include Business Engagement Manager for Africa at the same organization, as well as roles at JPMorgan Chase as a Hedge Fund Trade Support Analyst and Fixed Income Analyst, and earlier experience at Citigroup and Barclays in client service roles. Alekhine began a career in export analysis at H.M. Veloso Comerio Internacional Ltd. and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral Sciences from the University of Maine.
