Sirpa Huopalainen

Sirpa Huopalainen is the current General Counsel at Lassila & Tikanoja. Sirpa has held this position since August 2012. Prior to their current role, they were the General Counsel at Atria Plc from November 2007 to August 2012. In this role, they provided legal advice to the corporation's board of directors, CEO and other senior executives, and acted as a secretary for the Board of Directors and the Supervisory Board. Sirpa was also responsible for organizing and managing the legal function of Atria Group and providing legal support to Atria Group of companies.

Huopalainen began their career at Metso Corporation in May 1996, where they held various legal positions with Metso Corporation and its subsidiaries until November 2007.

Sirpa Huopalainen has an LLM in Law from the University of New South Wales, Australia and an LLM in Law from the University of Helsinki.

Sirpa Huopalainen reports to Eero Hautaniemi, President & CEO. They are on a team with Erik Sundström - VP, Facility Services Sweden, Jorma Mikkonen - Director, Corporate Relations and Responsibility, and Hilppa Rautpalo - Director of Human Resources.
