Viktoras Bachmetjevas

Viktoras Bachmetjevas is an accomplished academic and board member with extensive experience in philosophy and education. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at Vytauto Didžiojo universitetas since July 2019, Bachmetjevas also holds positions as a Board Member at LTG Link and as a Member of the Board of Advisors for the Open Lithuania Foundation, both since January 2019 and 2023 respectively. In addition, a Visiting Associate Professor at Yale University for the 2023-2024 academic year, previous roles include Chairman of the Board at Susisiekimo paslaugos and Director of the Emmanuel Levinas Center. Educational credentials consist of a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Vytauto Didžiojo universitetas, an MPhil from KU Leuven, and a Master's degree in Practical Philosophy from Vytauto Didžiojo universitetas, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy.
