Tinesh Chopade

Tinesh Chopade is a seasoned professional in advocacy and capacity building, currently serving as a Senior Specialist in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at LTIMindtree since December 2023. Prior to this, Tinesh held the position of Associate Director of Advocacy at The Humsafar Trust from January 2019 to October 2023, leading initiatives in 27 states of India to enhance awareness and sensitize various stakeholders on LGBTQ and human rights issues. Tinesh's career at The Humsafar Trust also included roles as Advocacy Manager and Program Manager, where responsibilities encompassed community systems strengthening in South Asia and capacity building for organizations working with the MSM community. Before joining The Humsafar Trust, Tinesh worked as a Project Manager at Samapathik Trust, focusing on HIV/AIDS prevention among MSM, transgender individuals, and Hijras in Pune district, with support from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Tinesh holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from North Maharashtra University.
