Jaron Swab

Jaron Swab has worked as a Software Engineer II at LTK (formerly rewardStyle & LIKEtoKNOW.it) since September 2021. In this role, they have created a microservice to pull data from multiple AWS SQS queues and process it, maintained and updated critical microservices for search, and assisted in version updates for the LTK app.

Prior to that, Jaron worked at Infor as an Associate Software Engineer from December 2019 to September 2021. During their time there, they implemented ASCII graphing functionality to the CLI of a company-wide app, improved AWS Cloud Formation deployments by 50% through an internal application, optimized Elastic Search to reduce application downtime by 90%, integrated AWS cross-account and cross-region availability to an internal application, and updated codebase to prevent timeouts on DynamoDB queries.

Before joining Infor, Jaron worked at HCL Technologies from November 2018 to November 2019. Jaron held multiple roles during their time there, including Developer & Database Manager, Programmer & Lead Analyst, and Senior Analyst. Jaron'sresponsibilities included creating custom Google Doc add-ons, maintaining legacy apps used company-wide, spearheading apps to improve team performance, developing browser extensions to remove repetition and increase productivity, providing training to ensure understanding of tasks, grouping base products together to enhance user experience, and fixing assigned bugs promptly.

Jaron also worked as an Analyst at Adecco from May 2014 to November 2014, where they were on-site at Google Pittsburgh. Jaron'sresponsibilities included product analysis, grouping base products to enhance user experience, and fixing assigned bugs.

Before their professional career, Jaron worked as a Freelance Web Developer from November 2012 to May 2014. Jaron also held positions as a Title Abstractor at Cinco Energy Services from April 2012 to November 2012 and at McDonald Land Services from January 2011 to January 2012.

Jaron Swab completed their high school education at Greensburg Salem High School from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a high school diploma with a general field of study. Jaron then pursued higher education at Waynesburg University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Political Science and Government. Additionally, they have obtained multiple certifications, including "Learning the Go Standard Library" from LinkedIn in March 2021 and "Fundamental Linux Administration" from Cybrary in June 2018.
