Kingsley Mikwamba

Kingsley Mikwamba has extensive experience in the field of agriculture and education. Kingsley is currently working as a Senior Lecturer and Head of Department for Agriculture and Food Systems at LUANAR-Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources. Kingsley has been in this role since February 2022.

Before their current position, Kingsley worked as a Senior Lecturer at Lilongwe University of Agriculture & Natural Resources (LUANAR), Natural Resources College from April 2002 to September 2022. Kingsley also held the role of Lecturer at Natural Resources College from April 2002 to November 2014, and additionally served as the Head of Department for Agriculture from August 2010 to October 2013.

In addition to their teaching roles, Kingsley worked as a Proposal Reviewer for a consulting company in 2009, and prior to that, they worked as a Credit Officer at Malawi Rural Finance Company from December 2000 to March 2002. Kingsley's work experience demonstrates their expertise in the field of agriculture and their dedication to education.

Kingsley Mikwamba has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Extension from Bunda College of Agriculture, which they obtained between 1995 and 2000. In 2005, they pursued a Masters Degree in Rural Development & Extension from the same college, completing it in 2007. Later in 2014, Kingsley attended the UN Food & Agricultural Organisation (FAO) & the International Training Centre- ILO, where they earned a Certificate in Monitoring & Evaluation of Food & Agriculture Programmes.
