Richard F. D. Banda

Richard F. D. Banda's work experience includes being a Chief Food Analyst at LUANAR-Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources since November 2013. In this role, they facilitate the production of teaching, research, and outreach materials. Prior to this, they were the Head of the Science Department at Kasakula sec school from January 2012 to May 2013, where they were responsible for liaising with academic staff, tracking student performance, procuring laboratory equipment, and preparing and presenting lessons. Richard F. D. also worked as a Boarding Master at Kasakula sec sch during the same time period.

Richard F. D. Banda pursued their education chronologically starting with obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Mzuzu University between 2007 and 2010. Their area of specialization during this period was Chemistry and Mathematics.

Later, between 2016 and 2018, Richard pursued a Master of Science in Food Science degree with a specialization in Food Safety and Quality-Microbiology at Egerton University.

In addition to their formal education, Richard F. D. Banda obtained a certification in Responsible Conduct of Research from the CITI Program in September 2023.
