Braden Norris

Braden Norris is currently the Co-Founder & Chief Financial Officer of CherCo since 2021. Prior to this, they were the Executive Director of Lubbock Electric Company, LLC since 2022, Vice President of Bluejack Partners since 2020, VP Finance & Treasurer of Cogent Energy Services since 2018, and Business Analyst/Strategist of Apex Heritage Group from 2017-2020. In this role, they successfully increased on-time-delivery month-to-month by 25%, developed plant measurement KPI’s and metrics, reduced OT by half, identified backlog issues and presented plan to the President to merge subsidiary into larger facility, worked with HR to change the culture and attitude throughout the plant, developed budget and cash flow break-even analysis, took over failing inventory project to lead through a successful accounting audit, developed sales strategy for conversion of inventory to cash, developed zero based budgeting process with 50% Year-over-year growth, led (3) separate teams of Rice MBA students ALP (Action Learning Project) with successful analysis of sales and growth strategy, inventory management and process review, M&A and customer sales survey, created and implemented a 1-year, 3-year, 10-year business plan for all operating companies, created business plan and financial model for new Oil & Gas Service company through both organic and/or acquisition options, partnered in the execution of the business plan through both organic and acquisition approach, and led financial due-diligence for 5 privately owned companies with 1 successful close. Prior to this, they were a Financial Analyst III at SNC-Lavalin from 2015-2017, Credit Analyst at Morgan Stanley from 2014-2015, Intern at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. from 2013-2014, Film Manager at Utah State University from 2012-2013, and Lead Generator at Sunrun from 2012-2013.

Braden Norris obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Finance, General from Utah State University - Jon M. Huntsman School of Business. Braden also attended the University of Northern Colorado.
