Luis A. Carthery Jr.

Luis A. Carthery Jr. serves as the Sr. Business Director for the Americas and the Sr. Global Director of Marketing, Innovation, and Business Development at The Lubrizol Corporation, contributing to enhancing the performance of products within Performance Coatings since March 2013. Prior experience includes key roles at GE in sales management and industry leadership focusing on the Sugar & Ethanol sector, as well as a Commercial Projects Manager position at Citrosuco, where responsibilities encompassed new business development. Earlier, Luis was involved in project management at DuPont, where leadership in Six Sigma methodology was a focus for developing new business in Latin America. Educational credentials include an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, executive education at The Wharton School, and a degree in Chemical Engineering from FEI.
