Matthew Espe

Matthew Espe is a Senior Research Chemist at The Lubrizol Corporation since November 2016, with previous experience as a Sr. Scientist at OMNOVA Solutions Inc. from January 2012 to October 2016. Matthew also had a sabbatical leave at OMNOVA Solutions Inc. from September 2010 to January 2011, and worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Washington University from 1993 to 1996. Currently, Matthew holds a position as an Adjunct Professor and Professor of Chemistry at The University of Akron, where their research focuses on the synthesis and characterization of nano-materials, including the generation of ceramic nanofibers using electrospinning techniques.
