Maarten Jacobs

Maarten Jacobs has extensive experience in the arts and photography sectors, currently serving as the LUCA Print Workshop manager at LUCA School of Arts since January 1999, where responsibilities include managing a Fine Art Print shop and providing technical solutions for students and staff. Additionally, Maarten is the Photography Workshop manager, offering support for both analogue and digital photography, alongside technical maintenance of photographic equipment. As a photographer at Trix since December 1998, Maarten handles commercial photography assignments and engages in graphic and web design, as well as IT consultancy for the graphic industry. Previous experience includes the role of Prepress & Graphic Design coordinator at Copycat from February 2006 to June 2008, where Maarten implemented a certified PDF workflow and established standard procedures for file handling and CTP production. Maarten holds a Master’s degree in Photography from Sint-Lukas Brussel, pursued from 1993 to 1998.
