Nicola Setari is an experienced lecturer and researcher at LUCA School of Arts since November 2016, where also serves as Head of Visual Arts at Sint Lukas Brussels and Head of the Research Unit Intermedia. Setari has been the Secretary General of the Dena Foundation for Contemporary Art since 2002 and is a member of the FWO expert panel for Art, Art History, and Literature until January 2024. Additional roles include serving on the Board of Directors at LAC Lugano Arte e Cultura from October 2017 to January 2022, and as a dramaturg for BOZAR’s Renaissance project from September 2017 to February 2018. Previous positions comprise Curator of public programs at Villa Empain - Boghossian Foundation, Research Associate at KU Leuven, and Lecturer at New Accademy for Fine Arts. Setari holds a Master of Arts in Aesthetics from Università degli Studi di Milano and a PhD in History of Architecture and Art Sciences from Università Ca' Foscari Venezia.
