Claire Charlesworth is an experienced professional in membership and development operations with a strong background in the arts sector. Currently serving as the Director of Membership & Development Operations at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art since July 2023, Claire previously held various leadership roles at the Brooklyn Academy of Music from December 2015 to June 2023, including Director of Individual Giving & Development Operations. Prior experience includes positions at The Museum of Modern Art, where Claire advanced from Membership Sales Assistant to Senior Development Associate in Membership Marketing from August 2007 to December 2015. Claire began a career in arts marketing with an internship at the National Museum of Women in the Arts in 2006. Claire holds a BA in Art History from Gettysburg College and is currently pursuing additional studies at NYU School of Professional Studies and the IAU Institute for American Universities.
