Damian Steel

Damian Steel is an accomplished Technical Director and Look Development specialist with extensive experience in the visual effects industry. With a career spanning several decades, Damian has been a key member of Industrial Light & Magic since June 1994, where expertise in technical direction and look development has contributed to numerous high-profile projects. Prior to this, Damian held the position of Technical Director at PDI (Pacific Data Images) for a brief period in early 1994 and worked as a TD/Animator at Digital Pictures from 1987 to 1992. Additionally, the professional journey began with freelance work as a runner from 1986 to 1987. Damian's educational background includes studies at Epsom School of Art & Design and Kingston College, completed between 1982 and 1986.
