Ian Bucknole

Ian Bucknole is a seasoned creative professional with extensive experience in the film industry. Since March 2015, Ian has served as the Lead of Video Content Creative at Lucasfilm, where responsibilities include directing and editing in-house film content, online productions, trailers, commercials, VIP interviews, and live events such as world premieres and charity promotions. Prior to this role, Ian worked as a filmmaker for Lucasfilm's in-house documentary unit, contributing as a writer, director, cinematographer, and editor. From September 2007 to March 2015, Ian operated as a freelance filmmaker, earning recognition for cinematic promos for major labels like Warner Brothers and Universal, alongside creating short films, scripts, and commercials. Ian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Television Production from the University of Westminster, obtained between 2003 and 2006.
