Maurits Valk

Maurits Valk is a skilled 3D Storyboard Artist currently working at Lucasfilm since February 2023, contributing to notable projects including "Star Wars: Maul - Shadow Lord," "Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld," and "Star Wars: Tales of the Empire." As a Freelance Storyboard Artist since September 2021, Maurits has collaborated with various clients such as The Mill, MPC, and Passion Pictures, creating storyboards and animatics for both live action and animated productions. Maurits has also held roles in production finance and analytics, including positions at Scanline VFX and TRAFIK, and has a solid background in VFX bid management and financial reporting from previous roles at Moving Picture Company and Double Negative. An alumnus of The University of British Columbia, Maurits holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics with a minor in Economics.
