Michael A. Weiss, Esq., MBA, serves as Principal Counsel for Business and Legal Affairs at Lucasfilm since December 2020, overseeing legal and business matters for the company and its subsidiaries, including Industrial Light & Magic and Skywalker Sound. Prior to Lucasfilm, Weiss operated as Principal Attorney at the Law Office of Michael A. Weiss from January 2011 to December 2020, providing strategic legal counsel to global brands in media and entertainment. Previous experience includes founding Media Mobile Management, LLC, where Weiss focused on digital content monetization, and serving as General Counsel and Senior VP at ei Independent Cinema, LLC, where Weiss established the legal department and managed various business affairs. Weiss holds a JD from New England Law | Boston, an MBA from Hofstra University, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Binghamton University.
