Jonathan Puehl

Jonathan Puehl is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in investment management, sales, and operational transformation. Currently serving as Managing Director at Lucem Capital Management since June 2024, Jonathan focuses on majority investments in small and mid-sized companies within the DACH region. Prior to this role, Jonathan was Sales & Marketing Director and Executive Board Member at Makro Nederland, where efforts were made to evolve the company into a multi-channel wholesale model. Jonathan's tenure at METRO AG included positions as VP Restructuring for Belgium and the Netherlands, as well as Value Creation Director and Manager in Singapore and Spain & Portugal, respectively. Jonathan also brings a solid background in M&A, having worked as an analyst at several prestigious institutions including C.W. Downer & Co., Nomura, and Dresdner Kleinwort. Academic qualifications include an MSc in Investment Management from Cass Business School and a BSc in Finance from BI Norwegian Business School.
