Farahnaz (Farah) Nourmohammadian

Farahnaz (Farah) Nourmohammadian has worked in various roles in the scientific field since 2000. Farahnaz (Farah) began their career as an Associate Professor at the Institute for Color Science and Technology (ICRC). In 2009, they became a Research Professor at Simon Fraser University. In 2016, they began working at Lucent BioSciences, Inc., where they held the roles of Chief Science Officer, Director of Research, and Senior Scientist, Head of Laboratory Research. Also in 2016, Farah began working at Oceaneos Marine Research Foundation as Head of Laboratory Research and Senior Research Scientist.

Farahnaz (Farah) Nourmohammadian began their educational career in 1996 when they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry and Material Science from TMU. In 2009, they served as a Visiting Professor at Simon Fraser University in the field of Switch Materials. Most recently, in 2022, they completed the Accelerate Leadership Program at The Ivey Academy at Ivey Business School, focusing on Organizational Leadership.
