Duane James ABOC, NCLEC, Commercial Pilot has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Duane James began their career in 2000 as a Junior Aviation Planner and Consultant at HNTB. Duane James then worked at Jeppesen, a Boeing Company, as an Enroute Cartographer for one year. From 2004 to 2007, they held different roles at Walmart, including Cashier, Assistant Store Manager, and Vision Center Manager. Duane then joined Sam's Club in 2007 and worked as an Optical Market Manager until 2010. Duane James was later promoted to the position of Optical & Hearing Aid Center Market Manager from 2010 to 2011 and then became the Divisional Optical & Hearing Aid Center Operations Sr. Manager for the West U.S. region from 2011 to 2015. After leaving Sam's Club, they joined Walmart as the Regional Manager for Professional & Campus Relations, Health & Wellness Talent Acquisitions from 2015 to 2019. Currently, Duane is working at Lucid Hearing as the Territory Vice President for Sam's Club Hearing Aid Centers, leading a team of Market Directors/District Managers across nine states in the Southwest U.S. In this role, their team provides hearing solutions, products, and services to the members of Sam's Club communities. With their background in management, operations, and healthcare, Duane has gained extensive experience in various leadership positions throughout their career.
