Frank Russo has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and organizations. Starting in 2006, they worked as a Professor of Psychology at Toronto Metropolitan University. In 2011, they became a Research Scientist at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute. In 2012, they also served as a Visiting Professor at ETH Zurich. Frank joined the University of Toronto in 2018 as a Professor of Speech Language Pathology. In addition to their academic positions, they co-founded Emote Play Apps Incorporated in 2015.
