Connor Gunsbury

Connor Gunsbury is a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Lucid Labs, where work focuses on advanced mechanical design projects since September 2021. Previously, Connor served as a Mechanical Design Engineer II and a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, optimizing designs of shock-absorbing structures and performing impact testing on laser-sintered components from August 2019 to October 2021. Prior experiences include working as a Student Mechanical Engineer at Medtronic from May 2017 to August 2019, contributing to the mechanical design of Deep Brain Stimulation devices, and as a Student Worker at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities managing fabrication tools. Connor holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Product Design from the University of Minnesota.
