Sonia W. Hamstra

Sonia W. Hamstra is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in fixed income asset management and early childhood education advocacy. Since April 2017, Sonia serves on the Board of Advisors for Lucid Management and Capital Partners LP, a firm specializing in short duration portfolios. Additionally, Sonia has been a Member of the Board of Directors for ParentChild+ since April 2007, promoting early literacy and school readiness. Previously, Sonia held senior roles at AIG Investments from 2001 to 2014, including Senior Managing Director and Global Head of Public Fixed Income, where responsibilities included directing public fixed income strategies and establishing investment performance analytics. Earlier career experience includes Vice President at American General Investment Management and Assistant Vice President at RepublicBank Houston. Sonia holds both an MBA in Finance and a BA in Sociology from The University of Texas at Austin.
