John Keith

John Keith has a long history of working in the technology industry. John began their career in 1985 as a Senior Software Engineer at Intel Corporation, where they designed and developed firmware and software for synchronous and asynchronous serial and I/O. In 1989, they moved to Sequent Computer Systems, Inc. as a Staff Software Engineer, where they were the lead software architect and development engineer for high performance storage and network subsystems. In 1994, they returned to Intel Corporation as a Senior Staff Engineer, working with industry partners to develop common manageability standards for computer systems and networks. In 1997, they co-founded Kavi Corporation, where they were the President/CTO, and also served as Corporate Secretary for the Distributed Management Task Force (DMTF). In 2007, they co-founded Cloud Four, which has been recognized as one of the leading agencies working on mobile web development. In 2010, they became a Partner at Second Rise, LLC and a Co-Founder, Technologist, and Business Developer at Lucid Meetings. In 2018, they joined the Advisory Board of the Agile Fluency Project and became a Board Member at Galois, Inc.

John Keith received a Bachelor's Degree, magna cum laude, in Computer Systems Engineering Technology from Oregon Institute of Technology between 1981 and 1985. John then went on to earn a Master's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Oregon Health & Science University between 1986 and 1996. Lastly, they were a PhD Candidate in Organizational Behavior and Leadership at Capella University from 2006 to 2008.
