Ian Johnson

Ian Johnson is a seasoned procurement professional with extensive experience in the automotive industry. Currently serving as the Senior Group Manager for Procurement at Lucid Motors, Ian Johnson leads a team of approximately 20 individuals overseeing various aspects of body in white and closures, including castings, extrusions, and mechanical closure parts. Previously, Ian Johnson held positions at Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd as Senior Purchasing Manager for Special Vehicles Operations and at Williams Advanced Engineering as Procurement Manager, focusing on BOM control and quality in workshop operations. Early career roles include Buyer at Honda of the UK Manufacturing Ltd. and Buyer for Parts and Materials Purchasing at Toyota Motor Europe. Ian Johnson holds a BSc (Hons) in Business Studies from Lancaster University and is an alumnus of Loughborough Grammar School.
