Nils Walther

Nils Walther currently serves as Chief of Staff in the CEO Office at Lucid Motors since 2025. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Nikola Motor Company from 2021 to 2025, where Nils held titles such as Head of Commercial Operations and Director of Commercial Operations, overseeing significant developments in sales and engineering. At FORVIA from 2017 to 2020, Nils was the Global Lead for Program Management and Market Development for a newly formed hydrogen technology Business Unit, achieving notable success in product roadmap and partnership strategies. Previous consulting experience includes work on electrification strategies for Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd and Jaguar Land Rover as part of a University of Cambridge MBA team. Earlier career roles at EDAG included project management and engineering responsibilities for major automotive projects. Nils holds an MBA from the University of Cambridge, and degrees in Automotive Engineering from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University and The Open University, along with a postgraduate degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from MIT Sloan Executive Education.
