Sivanathan Prasoody

Sivanathan Prasoody is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in materials and technology management within the automotive industry. Currently serving as Manager - Materials & Technology at Lucid Motors since May 2022, Sivanathan previously held the position of Director Of Technology at Our Next Energy for a brief period. From January 2010 to November 2021, Sivanathan was the Technical Director at BENTELER Automotive, leading product development and acting as the primary engineering contact for aluminum structures in North America. Earlier roles include Chief Engineer at Norsk Hydro, where Sivanathan focused on product development and design optimization of aluminum extrusions, and Design Analyst at Ricardo, conducting performance assessments of gearbox components. Sivanathan holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and a Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire.
