Spencer Devivo

Spencer Devivo is a seasoned professional in the field of motorsport engineering and high voltage systems, currently serving as Senior Manager of Motorsport & Special Projects at Lucid Motors since March 2016. Responsibilities include leading the GEN2 Formula E Battery Program and the GEN3 Formula E Front Powertrain Program, along with evaluating powertrain project opportunities. Prior roles at Lucid Motors featured management of the GEN2 Formula E Battery and Battery Cell Engineering for Lucid Air, as well as technical leadership in the design and development of motorsport batteries. Experience also includes a position as Senior Mechanical Engineer at Lithiumstart Inc., where Spencer designed components for a substantial energy storage system, and various engineering roles at Westport, Avcorp Industries, and UBC Formula SAE, showcasing a robust background in mechanical engineering and team leadership. Spencer holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
